Rescuing animals had been a dream of hers since she was a child and with many sleepless nights, tears, and heartache, HelpAWS has grown from a one-person operation to an international organization which has rescued and adopted out over 500 animals and sterilized over 2,000 animals on the island of Saint Lucia.
